TimeStitcher Preview
The notepad that keeps up with your brain
Capture thoughts as they come, refine them later
- Enter notes (called stitches) as fast as your brain can think, or interruptions occur
- Review, refine, and re-organize all your stitches at once -- easily move text from one stitch to another, or into new stitches
- Focus on relevant stitches by searching for text -- only the stitches containing the text are visible and editable
"I have kept TimeStitcher open and ready for my thoughts each day for over a year, and I am addicted to how it keeps me focused with relevant info." -- David Ching, TimeStitcher Creator
A typical day
- My first stitch is titled with today's date. It is my Todo List. It is constantly updated as my tasks are completed, re-prioritized, or changed.
- Every time a new thought occurs, I just jot it down, then isolate it with "===" into a new stitch by typing Ctrl+N above it.
- As I think more about the thought, details or subthoughts come to mind, which I append to the stitch, indenting as needed (by pressing the Tab key).
- I re-order my stitches by dragging and dropping them in the Stitch List. More important stitches rise to the top. Similar stitches are grouped together and perhaps combined by removing the separating "===".
- While refining stitches, a new thought can suddenly occur, and I easily capture it without breaking flow by creating a new stitch for it.
- However I change my stitches, they are auto-saved automatically, and I can press Ctrl+H (history) to see all the versions and recover previous stitch text if needed.
